Default 3.5 Exhaust

Hi all
I've been contemplating getting dual exhaust for my 06 mc 3.5. I am looking for that rumble sound when idling, and a decent amount of noise when accelerating, however, not race track style where you need earplugs. I need to keep it legal for my job.Does anyone have any ideas that arent extremely expensive. I was thinking about flowmasters or something like that but, i don't think they are available for my engine...Also i would like to have it converted to dual exhaust, mostly for appearence, it looks more balanced to me and the stainless or chrome tips on a black MC give it a great appearence imo.
I would have bought the SS if money was unlimited, but its not. I had to jump through a lot of hoops to get this car with neg equity and such. I will likely have this car til its paid off. I drive 30 miles to work 4 days a week so the 3.5 seemed like the right fit. I love this car and have always wanted a monte carlo since i was like 12.

Thanks in advance

P.S. is there anything thing i should really avoid for this engine (3.5)

There have been a couple of posts of people being happy with the sound of their Magnaflows.

And I've read that another person replaced the resonator with a glass-pack and really liked the sound.

What I would do if you want a good rumble is just get the exhaust shop to y it out in the back, put2 Flowmaster 40's Delta Flow, with tips of your choiceand listen to that great Flowmaster tone. No offence to the guys with Magnaflow, does have a good sound on V8's, but a lot of V6's I've heard are just to importish for me.

Flowmaster is a universal muffler, just have to get the right size, lots of muffler shops have them in stock

DO IT!. I just got dual 40sinstalled on my 3.5 and looks and sounds AWESOME! I went to a muffler shop were i had them install 2.5" pipe from the cat out without the resonator., Y it out by the back tires and stainless install steel tips. It kinda idles like a V8. Its a little loud inside but its worth it.
