Default 07 Monte SS Custom "Jardine Exhaust" System

Hello all, wanted to take a moment and post a few photo's of this 2007 Monte SS being built here in Utah, by the same shop that built my Monte. The car's owner is a member of the forum and he gave permission to me to post some photo's of his Monte. He is back east and has limited time to fly in to Utah with any regularity. Took the opportunity to snap a few shots of his Monte and he said it was okay to post them.
What we have here are some shots of his exhaust system and it's none like you have or will ever see again. This system is a work of art and yet designed to fulfill the requirements needed to permit his beast to breath freely. His member name is "Bahdeets", I think his page has a link to other photo's of his one of a kind 2007 Monte Carlo SS. This gentleman's car is breath taking in it's own right. I dare say once completed this car will be reign supreme over any and all 6th & 7th generations Monte Carlo's. I will get a few more pictures and post next week. I have been witnessing this Monte's birth for the last 2 years. The build has been nothing short of a true technical marvel.

The exhaust system is custom made by the Legendary "Jardine Headers" company out of Wyoming. I watched this Mr. Jardine (one of the sons) consume almost 4 weeks fabricating, mocking up, modifying and finally assemble and install the Full Custom Stainless Steel headers and 4" stainless exhaust system. Once all the welding and polishing was completed the unit was installed for a final fitment. Soon after, the complete system was removed, disassembled and sent out for ceramic coating for heat signature reduction. And I'm not sure but can verify, but I believe the system was additionally recoated with another heat absorbing product as we witness with the almost gritty matte grey coating in these pictures.

Note the systems oval ported exhaust cutout with the NASCAR style (Jardine)exhaust tip in front of the right rear tire. As I have said this system is so SWEET!! You should hear this Monte SS run, this car is truly a BEAST and Bahdeets gets to be the BEAST MASTER!!

We have met on occassion at the shop and I had a moment to take him for a short cruise in my 02 Turbo Monte. IMO my Monte is a toy compared to his conservative 900 whp
(actually the WHP numbers were higher on dyno) but thats his secret to be disclosed at his choosing.

So sit back and marvel at this custom exhaust system you see before you. A true beauty..

Here are a couple of more shots of the car... The face of the tranny is off as work is being done to increase line pressure to 350 pounds.

Note the Wilwood braking system. This is the only 6th or 7th Gen. Monte Carlo SS in the U.S. utilizing this system. Believe me when I tell you, there were numerous modifications required in order to mount these 6 piston calipers and huge rotors.
