Default *New to Upgrading Performance*

Hey I'm a new member to the Monte Carlo Forum(s) and I have been thinking of upgrading the performance of my Monte. I have no idea what would be a good start, all I really know is new exhaust and air intake. The items I have decided on so far are linked below. Please, if anyone has any ideas on what would be a good start to upgrading the performance please post! : ) Thanks!

P.S. : Will be posting pics of my Monte on the picture/video area of the forums. Also, I am very very very new to the mechanics of cars so speak as if I don't know what a car even is haha.

As with any performance thread, we need at least:

-year/model of car (obviously its not a 91)
-engine
-goals for performance (be it hp, or 1/4 mile)
-budget

That exhaust set-up = WAY too much money.

Visit an exhaust shop and research your exhaust a little more. Look for the words U-Bend delete.

HP and about $2000.
What I meant is is there a specific hp goal or 1/4 mile goal you had in mind.

Anyways- $2k can make a pretty big difference, and you really have two nice routes:

a) top swap (under $1k) plus all the basic bolt ons (headers, 1.9 modded stock rockers, autolite 104s, 180 thermo, etc) (about another $1k)

b) used turbo kit (~$2k+)
