I love Driv'in Florida Route A1A that runs along the Atlantic Ocean

Where's the beach? On Florida's Atlantic coast, State Road A1A is always a best bet. Most of Florida's Atlantic beaches can be found along A1A on barrier islands that are separated from the mainland by the Intracoastal Waterway.
State Road A1A technically begins in Key West Florida, although US 1 runs through the rest of the Florida Keys and A1A resumes in Miami. There are several sections of this state highway that stop and start along Florida's east coast before the highway officially ends in the town of Callahan just south of the Georgia state line.
A1A has long been associated with surfing and other water sports, so it is no surprise that the flagship store for Ron Jon's Surf Shop is located at the corner of SR 520 and SR A1A, just a block away from the beach.
Stretches of A1A in Daytona Beach and Fort Lauderdale are famous for Spring Break crowds. Daytona Beach has a combination of older seaside motels and newer multistory hotels on either side of A1A, whereas Fort Lauderdale has hotels and resorts on the west side of the street and an extensive public beach on the east side of A1A. In nearby Miami Beach, A1A is also known as Collins Avenue. And no matter what big city or sleepy coastal town A1A runs through, the beach won't be hard to find

EASY one for us. Not close, and I haven't driven the Monte on it, so this might now qualify, but OUR favorite road is on the SW corner f the Smokey Mountains, and it's called Tail og the Dragon:
This was us last summer, and we are leaving Wednesday to go there again with between 50 and 60 other Solstice and Sky owners from around the country.
We're the 4th car. The 1st one has a LS1 V8 in it with a full custom leather interior, and WAY too many other things to say here.
Here's a link to just one of the professional photographers that take pics along the road. Our's will be posted, and I'll put links to them, also.
Killboy has a web site that is updated constantly with new pics and what's happening all the time. GREAT pics of this road!

So where are we staying? Not on the Tail of the Dragon, but on the NEXT road east of it, the Hellbender 28, at Fontana Village:
Not as many cops on this road, nor the traffic, and honestly, just about as nice, if not nicer BECAUSE it's not as busy.
And another reason to go there?
That's right the Great Smokey Mountains National Park. If you've never been there, do yourself a favor and go spend some time there. Realize just how small we are, and what a majestic place on earth that God has created for us to enjoy.

That area is so beautiful, and the roads are meant to
be driven....
I can't wait to be in the position to travel North America
and see all the beauty in person, and not just on the web.

My favorite road to drive my monte carlo on is ANY of them, as long as I'm in the driver's seat!! Wayne those are some GORGEOUS pictures. Love your Solstice by the way. I wanted a silver one, but the payments would have been too much when I traded my g5 in... they wouldn't give me enough for it.... i would have gotten more for it had it been in a wreck....

i would have to say it 91st..near my house its about 4 miles long and has hairpin tuns long sweeping,long stait away... a long hill could drive back an forth on that road for hours
