I will not trade my Monte

Matter a fact I think all imports need to be loaded on a ship and ship back to where they came from.......
Heck sink that ship halfway cross ocean.
Hi Michael, I guess you are not interested in trading
I think the Honda & Nissan's are being built in the USA, so
I guess we will have to blow up the tracks & auto carriers LOL
Michael, you & my Grandfather would get along great : )
America...Love it or leave it

Peace Out

I don't like the new Altima myself. Now I am considering trading my Monte for a Lexus IS. Could happen very soon.

My grandfather's friend has the performance modelthat's loaded. They are amazing cars & quick. I hope that you can getmore then book value for your awesome Monte LTZ. The Monte isn'tholding it's value [X(], but I think it will be more stable with time. What model are you trying to get ? If you do, please give us a reporton what's it's like to be rich : )Good Luck James`Space

Iwouldn't trade my Monte for any of the cars shown here. A rice burner is a rice burner I don't care where it's built. I've never seen and neverexpect tosee an import thatcan conjure up the"Muscle" car image. The Monte has "pizzaz" in spades, and always will. I don't care what all the so called experts say you can't engineer an "IMAGE" into a car. I wouldn't give a second look to the cars shown here (even the pontiac, it looks like an import), but my Monte, I get double takes everywhere I go, and personally, that gives me a value you just can't quantify.

Well said.

I do abmit I drive cars daily with the mitsubishi 3.0 under the hood but I "Think" the rest of the car was produced right heres?

When I wanted to buy an '06 Monte my mother mentioned I could sell my '86 LS to have extra $$$$ to put on the '06.

I told her, "No fking way!!!"
(okay, I didn't say fking infront of my mother but I felt like it)

I love how if you wanted to modify the engines in the cars that first you would have to find it under all the plastic and then u realize that there is no room in the engine bay to even do anything with it

All i see it the battery and plastic where the engine is i think

Hey Space, I'm leaning towards the IS 250 AWD or the IS 350. The 350's are faster 0-60 than the Monte SS, and they are only V6's. Lexus is an awesome car....Quality, quality, quality and they do hold their value very well.

Hi Bill -RevItUpFaster-,
If there were more loyalconsumer's like you, they would still be producing the
Monte Carlo. I do believe if GM would haveinvested into marketing &
promotions that the Monte Carlo would not have died.
GM -Chevrolet Divisionslatest revisions in 2006 were to little, to late : (
Thanks Bill and members, for your posts and sharing your views.
We are the fortunate ones to have a Monte Carlo, and that puts us in a
Special Class of Automobile Owners.
We shall await the rebirth of a new Monte Carlo, but until then,
we shall enjoy our awesome/rare/unique GM creation;
the
Monte Carlo
