Last weekend, due to the wonderful weather I decided to treat my car to a $40 wash and wax. It came out great, looked brand new. The next day, I go outside and it looks like the birds used my car for target practice! No joke there must have been 50 craps all over it! Not to mention there were bird foot prints and wing-flapping marks all over.So after the most expensive wash I give my car the birds decided to own it! Thats not all. Two days later, I am taking my normal route to school, and I am suddenly rammed from behind! Some ladie driving a friggen altima was speeding and rear ended me! My bumper took a good hit, but kept its shape, butthe sport trim on the bottom was torn off.The impact also messed up my exhaust, it bent both pipes like 45 degrees!So Im gettin it all fixed soon, and Im happy that my insurance is covering it 100%. Hey maybe this is a good opportunity to get those flowmasters I wanted!!!

 

 

i feel ya d00d, i toiled and blood sweat tears on my car and someone uses their truck to push it out of a parking lot one day. i still have not overcome that and think about it everyday and the more i think bout it the more it pisses me off. even tho i got 90% of the damage taken care of myself theres still noticable "imperfections" left. so dont feel bad shoot man after all that time detailing my car last weekend i had to drive down a dirt road to get to the car show!!! so today the day after my cars brown again all 4 tires are chunky with dirt clung to the tire spray *sigh* what a cruel world


but yeah flowmaster that bad boy and lets hear her roar!!

Sorry to hear about your bad luck.It seems the birds know when your car is clean.I usually try to park away from overhead wires where they sit if I can.

I can tell you 100% birds know when you've cleaned your car. Then the divebomb it.

I've left one spot of bird doo/doo on my car and not another shot before.

Please stay safe and post pics when your car is repaired.

 

That bird junk can be tough to get off sometimes and can do serious damage to a paint job.... not that you have to worry about that much.

Glad to see you are well enough to tell us the story. Sorry about you car getting it in the tailpipe. I'd take the insurance and get the better exhaust.

 

Thanks guys. No joke that bird is nuts! It is this one partricular bird that is mesmerized by my car. I sits near the wipers and craps on the hood. Flies up and down the windshield, divebombs and pecks my doors and climbs the a- pillar. 2 seconds ago I had to move my car again, the bird was on the hood and took another shat!

 

dang d00d that birds serious. if i was u id invest in an airsoft gun, wont kill the bird but it'll def give him the sign to bugger off

 

Pellet gun = no more problem.
