Hey folks. I am trying to decide which mod I want to do first. A Wizaired CAI, or a HID light kit. I am torn between the two. I only have funds for one or the other right now.
Maybe you guys, and gals could help me decide.

 

Definitely go performance route. i vote for the Wizaire Cai, plus i think its what most guys are using its suppose to keep the hot air the best of the cai out there.

 

Well since you're poll is asking what I myself would do first... HID kit. I don't really worry too much about performance since I don't have a strip near me to race at.

 

The lights are cool and all but they wont make any more horsepower.

 

FWI! chaper then you can do the hid too , win win

 

..Don't know what your budget is but you may want to go ahead and get the WizAired unit in ?
Your headlights still work ? Wait awhile ?
But it's up to you. The WizAired install is pretty easy but it will try your patience.

It's not just performance, you get noticeably better gas mileage as well.

 

Thanks for all the output everyone. You've helped me decide. I will get the CAI. I put a fender well intake on my Mom's 3.4 Impala. I love the sound of it. When I test drove it I thought I could feel a little bit more when I laid on the pedal. Maybe it was in my head, I don't know. I have read though that SC's gain more benefit to a CAI. I think the lights will have to wait!

 

Definitely go with the CAI first!
