My drivers side wiper never seems to clean the window well. I dont know what was on the car before but when i got the car the passanger side wiper was damaged so I replaced them both with AC Delco 22's which started the whole driver side not cleaning well. Then i tried these new ANCO contour blades and they still skip/mess up on the drivers side but just a different spot now!? Any ideas?

 

When you replaced them, did you just replace the blades or did you replace the arm the blades slip in to?

One thing that makes the wipes "Stay" against the windshile is a spring in the wiper arm down near they pivot. I'm sure you've pulled on the arms and realized something is making it go back against the windshield before? It's a spring. And they can get weak or even break. Check to make sure the arms feel like they have a lot of tension on them. If one feels weaker them this could be why the blade isn't wiping as needed.

Another thing. If you try to wipe ice from the windshield say in the morning, ice can damage the blade making it so they need replaced sooner.
