Hate to dig up a 3 month old thread but I wanted to know how those of you with the Icon blades are fairing. I had the stock blades for 3 years and replaced them when about an inch of the blade tore off of the tip. I replaced them with Icons and they only lasted a few months before they started streaking and now they are just terrible.

Anyone know about the stock wipers? I looked on GMPartsDirect and I can get the stockers for the same price as Icons off of Amazon. Wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions. The Icons were great for a little while, but the stock wipers lasted years longer. Maybe it's just that the Icons can't take the Wyoming winters.

My Icons are so bad now that they actually pull water back from the sides of the windshield to smear it across the rest of the glass, especially with snow.

I purchased mines as well a few months back to beat the chicago freezing weather (avoding the metal wipers that freeze up during snow falling) and now the streak horribly. I bought my wife some rainX blades that was MORE then the icons at autozone and they work beautifully so far (since Feb of this year). I've even tried cleaning the blades wit alcohol and still streaks.

I've had my Icons on since the fall and they still work great. Every time I wash the car I be sure and wipe down the blades. Residue on the blades could be causing the streaking.

I've been using my Icon blades for a little over a year now, they seem ok.

I'm still using the Icons from this thread and they still work 100% perfect.

I get a good 3-4 years out of every set I buy.

Hmm, I do make sure and clean my blades about once a week (with the car wash). I still haven't decided what to try but Advance Auto has the Trico Neoform's for $10 off so maybe I'll try them.

I don't think they were worth it. They didn't last a long time for me.

I now have Trico NeoForm blades and they're doing pretty well. I had a buy 2 get $15 mail in rebate so I said, what the hell.
