Default Winter Additions

Ok so I apparently have the worst luck in the world because on the way to put the car into storage for the winter I hit an animal. So that being said the monte is now in my garage and being prepped for as many cosmetic and a few performance upgrades as I can pull off this winter. Any suggestions/recommendations are welcome. I have a general idea where I am going but I would like some input. There are alot of beautiful montes on this site and mine is already one of a kind in my neck of the woods but of course I would love it to stand out more.

First off I will list all that is currently done:

Razzi Body kit( 3 of 4 pieces were severly damaged in accident so reordered)
Dual magnaflow cat back system
SLP CAI
SLP/Intimidator spoiler
18" Verde jaggedge wheels

Now the list of what I am planning on aquiring over the winter. Again any suggestions are more than welcome:

ZZP springs and GR-2 shocks
Tint all the way around (rear 5%, quarter glass 15% and doors 30%)
Shaved doors
New Hood (have to have current painted anyways so now is perfect chance)
Led Tail Lights

This is where my wanted list ends as of now. I know I am missing a few things. I welcome and would appreciate all suggestions and recommendations.

If you find the tail lights cheap let me know where you get em, sadly I dont have paypal so ebay is not an option for me but amazon and all other places i look seem to be running 280-320ish for the ones I want. Sorry to hear about your bad luck but at least you get to do some mods.

I would pass on the SLP CAI and get the Wizaired from ZZP. The SLP is just a gutted airbox with a cone filter.

the slp intake is already in it. It was in the car when it was bought from dealership in 2003. I would love to get rid of the 3.4 but I cant justify it yet. It only has 46xxx miles on it.

Now that the car is going to be apart anyways might as well swap an L67 into it Although I agree, it is tough to get rid of an engine with such few miles

I honestly dont mind the 3400 It was always good to me but after having a 3800 I love the 3800 much more, for some reason my grand am gt 03 with a 3400 felt a lot quicker than my 04 monte with a 3400 which is weird because I thought the 3400s in the montes came stock with more hp.

If the motor gets swapped I will go with L36 swap and z3 or z7 zzp turbo setup. I thought about skipping everything and jumping right to that but that will most likely be a next winter project. The car has been in the family since 100 miles on it, and its been great to me so I plan on playing with it for a long time

3400 Monte's make about 5 more hp then Grand Ams, but Grand Ams weigh almost 400lbs less then Montes. You're correct that the Grand Am felt faster, because it is faster.

SLP Grilles are a nice addition to the front of the car.

LED tails definitely look good!

Are you lowering? You might prefer the SSC Springs and KYB AGX struts.
