Default Windshield defrost vent

Hey, anyone with an 06/07 noticed the defroster vent buckling or bowing up when the defroster is on and the car has been cold? My 06 is doing this and the stealer is replacing the entire top portion of the dash... Also the car has been throwing codes for the heated seats, radio, seatbelt and passenger bag not talking to the computer. Anybody else having these small issues? I hope to get these small problems fixed soon!

Why does everyone call the dealership "stealership"?

I get a huge discount on my parts thru my dealership. I've known him for over 10 years and I get parts below wholesale even. I guess I have a problem with it being called that. If you don't want the OEM GM parts then go someplace else.

I haven't seen that on my '06 LTZ as of yet, and honestly hope I never do. Please let us know what happens.

I got the deforst vent issue fixed. They replaced the whole piece. As for the codes the car was throwing, the dealer had to first see the actual problem in person and then start the process. I have the only 06 SS that has been to the dealer for this problem so they were lost! Finally after calling GM Tech and various other people. Well, long story short the dealer had to reprogram the computer with a new program. All in all this program reprogramed the heated seats, passenger airbag, seatbelt senors and the DOD. I hope this is the last time I have to deal with this.

So, SS peeps if you start getting weird things happening with the seatbelt lites and the passenger airbag lite, call OnStar and have them do a check and annote the codes in your account! This was the only way the dealer could/would look for the error in the programing

I have had issues tiwce where I get an airbag worning, just the light flashing. Or one time the display said that it was both on AND off. But both times, when I shut off the car, and then started it later, the problem fixed itself. I didnt pay too mych attention to it. I have to take it into the dealership next week for an oil change and some other small warranty stuff, so I'll mention the reprogram. Thanks for the heads up
