I have an 05 S/C monte SS
im going to get an intake but not sure witch one would work best with my S/C.

K&N or the JMB fenderwell intake or are they the same?

I would go with K&N only because its a well known, trusted and proven, company.

 

I have an 05 SS supercharged Monte and I went with the SLP CAI. The K&N intake looks better and might sound better than the others, but the enclosed systems like Wizaired, SLP and Thrasher perform better.

I wish the LS4 guys had the same options. We only have 2.

I've heard the Wizaird system to be much better by a lot of members. And when I can afford to, it's the system I plan on installing on my supercharged 2004.

 

I got the K&N for looks, but I wish I got the wiz-aired. Though it doesn't look as nice, I find myself going for the performance more instead of popping my hood to show the car.

Regrets no matter what you do I guess :P

 

Get the Wizaired or SLP. I have the K&N, and it only has the heat shield, and it's poor. You need a CAI box instead.
