Opinion Needed: Where to find retained accessory power breaker on a 2005 Chevy Monte Carlo
My windows and sunroof don't work. I was informed to check the retained accessory power breaker fuse, but don't know where it's located. Has anyone had this similar problem? Everything else works, radio, lights etc. Where is the (RAP Brkr) retained accessory power breaker located?
It's a 30 amp breaker (not a fuse) on the back side of the passenger side fuse panel. There's a couple there and I'm not sure which it is. A thread posted by fellow member "The_Maniac" describes and illustrates how to get there when he replaced the 30 amp breaker for the rear window defogger. I believe the RAP breaker is next to that one. The car he's referencing is an Impala, but they're nearly identical under the skin.
In the thread he describes a breaker that he's unsure of "thinks it's power seats" but might be for RAP. I have also replaced that breaker, it's no fun.

Thanks Plumbob. I appreciate your reply. So today on my lunch break I attempted to hot wire it (Sunroof) to close it. I must admit that I was desperate and was on Youtube looking for a solution. So I followed the instructions given, but it was a diffrent vehicle with a diffrent wiring harness. So I guessed and with no surprise it didnt shut. But a little spark came from when I connected it and of course I figured I caused more damage. I tried the windows and thankfully they begun to work. Connected the harness back and the sunroof worked! Its been a good 10 hrs and no problems at all. Not sure what happened but its working.
