Default Where can I get my rims rechromed?

Hey im new to the forum and this is the only place where i know i can get an answer. I just bought 4 intimadator rims from a guy and some of the chrome is peeling off around the valve stem and one the back of the rim. I got the rims cheap enought to where i think ill be able to get them rechromed and still save a lot of money. The guy that i bought them from only had 19,000 miles on the car and they started peeling. His loss is my gain. So, does anyone know where i can take 4 rims and get them rechromed for a decent price? They're beautiful rims and i want to see them on my car someday! Someone please help me out!!! Thanks Guys!!

Do you have any local forums if you do check them out and see if any of them know of any good local crome shops

Check with some local wheel shops. Shops that sell chrome rims and other custom wheels. They can usually let you know about some local places that do chroming.

Also, if there's any car customization/restoration shops in your area, they usually have places they deal with a lot.

Another thing you can do. Visit some local car shows. Talk to some of the car owners. If you're friendly and show a genuine interest, they will generally be happy to tell you where they got theirs done.

I never really stopped looking at them. We bought my wife a new car a month or so ago and I'm driving her old Acura as my daily. We are planning on trading it in and getting me a Dale Sr in late February/early March.

Did a quick internet search and there are quite a few shops, so source out a decent shop and go for it. Average price was about $235 per wheel to start. It says wheels are treated different than rechroming a bumper etc. guess all the heat from braking etc. so the chrome is bonded differently. Go get them powder coated a nice black or something for about $50 per wheel. thats what i did with my factory 16" and I think they look just fine.
