Traction control is nice, but 95% of the time I'm driving I have it turned off.

Sorry to hijack here, but it makes me wonder about mine then. I have a 2005 LT with leather heated seats, traction control, dual climate, CD/cassette...everything except the sunroof option. Does that mean it would like a 2004 SS then?

Hard to tell from your avatar picture, but it looks like you have everything but the high sports package, just like my 2000 SS. So yeah, your car is a year shy of being an SS :P

But in 2004 20% of them were supercharged also.

haha cool! I don't know if the bigger pictures in the introduce yourself section would help or not, but that's ok. Thanks BlackSheep!

i thought the cd/caset radio was faded out in 98? interesting to know they had that option then. besides who listens to tapes any more every thing that deals with music is now on cd's. also heated leather seats? is that a electricl problem when the heated seats stop working?

I don't know about the 7th gens, but a lot of the 6th gens I was looking at buying had both CD and cassette. I don't think I have any cassettes anymore, but I do have one of those cassette adapters. I plug my mp3 player into it so I don't have to carry around CD's.

what i ment was electrical disaster when the heated seats stop working. the heated seats on my dads mazda his heated seats broke and kept heating up till it burned up the motor and the foam. what i mean is the switch or some thing electrical broke on his and tore up the drivers seat and deployed the seat air bag. wouldent some thing happen like that happen to the monte carlo heated seats
