Default What would you choose?

So I thought this would be a cool thread just to see what people would like to have. Let's say you received $500,000, or enough money to buy whatever your dream car is, and you had the choice to either keep the money and put it towards your Monte and then sock the rest away or go out and buy your dream car and fix it up. What would you do? I myself love my Monte Carlo but if I had the ability to have any car in the world, I think I would get one of 3 cars. Either a 1970 Dodge Challenger, a 1970 Hemi Cuda, or a 1970 Mustang GT500 (Eleanor to be exact). I would take either of those in a heartbeat, all are a dream car that some day I will have, at least one anyway. With the rest of the money I would do a full restoration if it needed it and then I would sock the rest of the money away.

First I would have to have a place to put all these sweet rides. I would like a 69 Mustang Mach 1, 72 Hurst Olds Hard Top with a Hurst installed power sunroof, a 58 Chevy Impala and a loaded top of the line big block 72 Monte Carlo.

There was a car museum in Vegas that had one of the Eleanor cars from the movie for sale. If I remember right, it was a couple hundred thousand. Pretty sweet car!

That's a tough one. I'd be torn between something new or something classic. I'd love to have a Yenko Camaro from the 60's. I'd also be tempted to buy one of those Cadillac CTS-V's. I don't know which way I'd go. I would definitely have to get an Escalade or Tahoe or something to cart the kids around in, but Daddy would need to have some sort of toy also, Lol.

Amy:
Your the first person inas long as I can remember, That was even remotely interested in a 1958 Impala.
My fondest memory of a 1958 Impala, was my fathers Anniversary model with a 348 tripower!
White top,Black bottom.
Talk about a ride with style and power!!!!
I loved that car...It was suppose to be mine when I turned 16. However, It was totaled in a wreck in a parking lot by a 7up truck. A month before my b'day.
I'm with you! That would be my first choice.
Which was also the pace car for the Indianapolis 500 in 1958.

Which Eleanor ?????'Eleanor' is the trademarked name given to a 1971 Ford Mustang (redressed as a 1973[1][2]) for its role in the 1974 film Gone in 60 Seconds

Or the 'Eleanor' is a 1967 Custom Mustang in the 2000 Gone in 60 Seconds remake.

I like the 1967 Custom Mustang in the 2000 Gone in 60 Seconds remake.

I've always loved the body style of the 58 - sleeker than the tri-fives and it was also a one year body style which makes them pretty rare these days.
