To be fair for what I did to Mickey's post the first time, here's Mickey's post with the jokes taken out.

ORIGINAL: mickey

i have the steering wheel controls on mine. I can tell you taking apart the colum or even just taking the cover off is not a fun task but here ya go for instructions on how to do it.

1. Open car door and open fuse panel in door jamb on driver side.
2. Disconnect the BAT. (make sure to take both posts off on this you dont want any current of any kind in the car during this.)
3. In the fuse panel find the fuse for the air bags and pull it out.
4. Under the column i believe it was 4-6 screws there they are reverse torx or safety torx can't remember any more.
5. Once you have done this you can look on the back of the steering wheel and there are more screws.
6. Carefully take the front cover that is more than likely almost off or at least loose now out of your way.
7. Disconnect the wire in the steering colum.
8. There are four screws that hold the controls on to the steering wheel.
9. At this point it is just like anythign else.
10. Make sure the wires are not touching anything etc...
11. If nothing is there then it might be under the car by the horn.
12. It is located out side on the front pass fender under the car.

hope this helps you out some at least if nothign else you will feel good about the fact you have gotten it apart with out hurting your self or the car.

ALSO. seriously make sure the when you hook the fuse back in to the car for the air bags that you touch metal first. YOU WANT NO SHOKING AT ALL.

those air bags are under ALOT OF FORCE. IF IT DOES GO OFFLOOK AT SPENDING OVER 500.00 PER SIDE TO FIXTHIS. NOT TO MENTION THE DASH PARTS THAT BREAK WHEN THEY GO OFF.

if you need any more help let me know.
