Default what purpose do these serve?

are they good for an 07 ss. do they improve sound and performance? are they hard to install or even worth considering? help me out here guys.

If they do it won't be much, and for the price I'd say it's not worth it

What part are you asking about? You have pictured what looks like a waste gate and a blow off valve flange.

yep i believe thats what it is. on ebay for 50 bucks. says improves power and performance.

What you have pictured is a wastegate. It's used for turbochargers to allow excess exhaust gases to escape in order to protect the turbo.

If you don't have a turbo, this is useless and you will see no gains whatsoever.
