lol R.J. I guess to me it is not one thing it is juast what i wanted to do to the car so to me it is not that spoecial. It is just a clean car to most folks that ahvent looked at it real close they woudl never know anythign about the rest of the stuff done to it

 

Being a Second Generation Monte Carlo makes mine stand out from the rest. I rarely see 73-77 Monte's around town. I mostly see 4th, 5th and 6th generation Monte's. Never any second generation, but if I do it is usually a beater.

Also, I am the only second gen at car shows. Out of the past 5 years I've been going to carshows I've only seen two other second gen Monte's. Both of them were 76's. One was red with a black half vinyl top and the other was maroon with a black half vinyl top. Everybody owns a Nova, Chevelle, Camaro, Mustang, Corvette, Challenger or GTO. Nobody owns a Monte Carlo, at least not my generation. Its nice to be different.

I'd like to find a decent 2000 - 2005 Monte with 50,000 - 60,000 miles on the clock for about $4500.

Probably won't happen will it?

 

haha, if you can find one for that cheap then It would be a jump-on-it deal... I just paid $3400 formy 2000 Monte SS. Black with dark grey leather, and every option available. Of course, it is not a perfect, showroom fresh car, but it runs and looks great. The downside is that it has 163,000 miles on it. [] Oh well, it drives great and I love it.

mine jus stands out cuz u dont see many 4th gen montes anymore. especially where i live on the island of maui. the only exterior mod i've done is put the centerline light-weight drag wheels on there. i get a lot of compliments for just having a clean car.

I just found an '02 on one of the links Space provided with 61,000 miles for $2000 OBO. But it has front end damage and is setting in New Jersey.
