I've been running regular 87 in it and haven't had a problem with knock or anything so I didn't see a reason to go higher. Same with my Dad when he had his Grand Prix GXP. Been considering going up to 91 to see what the difference is and if I like it better. Probably next fill up.

Built 3800 have a 91 tune and a 104 tune. 87 limp mode protection tune in case there is no 91 available.

I run 87 in my Monte, 93 in GTO LS1 & 93 in the Edge with the 3.7 V6

87,its all stock right now,probally 89 when summer rolls around

93 in the 05 and 87 in the 03. When I get my Camaro or Challenger I will run mid grade - 89.

What's the point of having the V8 then? You are running the car on a different fuel table, different timings.

I have an L36 n/a with an Overkill PCM tune and a 3 degree advance so I must run 91 or better octane... I did however always run hi-octane, I find it keeps the motor cleaner and less build up over time...

I've always ran premium which is 91 here in Iowa
