Looking good, very clean for a MN car.

Thanks guys.. I'm glad you like it..
The clean look is attributed to it being in a heated garage since the day it left the dealership. A friend of mine bought the car new, late in 2004.
But it is showing some advancement of rust underneath that I'm concerned about.. Nothing serious yet.. but we all hate that rust settling in.
He ran it through car washes at least every other week since he's had it.. I think that's bad.. Those washes with the power they have blow water into every cavity and orifice that is anywhere on the car. Then it sits there and rusts.
Bucket washing and rain doesn't have that pressure and just affects the surface basically.. I promised this car she'd never suffer another automated car wash again..lol
I only wish he had worried as much about the interior as he did the exterior...lol .. I had to replace the seats as the originals were severely torn and the bases were broken.. I filled a garbage bag of crap out of the interior with receipts and birthday cards from as far back as 2006..lolol..
Next is the emergency flasher switch that has broken from the dash and fallen behind it..lol.. A fit of rage of some sort I'm sure..
All this a slow go.. but I know it'll be worth it in the end..
Every little fix, makes me like it all the more

Default 1 gen

I have a 72 monte carlo with ss package . Bucket seats floor shifter freshly rebuilt th350 trans matched up with 350sb super competition hooker headers flow master exhaust . Really wish previous owner kept 454 in it but car still runs amazing. I also have a 4th gen 84 monte carlo ss. Original 305 h.o had bad heads so I put in a crate engine wasn't a good idea as crate engines don't meet Denver Colorado emissions standards. So I pulled an engine out of a totaled 85 ss . In the process of getting that installed
