what generation would you want?
i dont thin this has been asked before so here it is if you could have a different Generattion Monte Carlo what would it be & why?
mine would have to be a black 88 ss i just love the look of the body for this year and the stance of the car on the road and with a 3inch cowl hood of course

for me if it was a different gen i wanted it would be an 07 ss blue or silver i think, no more black after this car! its pretty much the same car as the one i have (and i love it) and its got a v8 in it

I would like to find my a nice 2nd gen monte. I have always loved those montes. My brother had one of the 2nd gen montes and it was a great car.
I love my 05, but am keeping my eyes open for a 2nd gen project car that I can tinker around with.

but I really like all generations Monte Carlo's.
I love the history of Car Design from
the begining to production.
Would love one with a Z06 Conversion : )

I had a 1985 SS,a 2000 SS and currently have a 2006 SS and I must say the 2006 is my overall favorite.My 2000 was black,and I have to agree with Wiz,after owning that I really didn't want another black one.It did seem though,at least in my area that 75% of the 2006 Monte's on dealer lots were black.

I think GM has made the best Monte ever.....
I love the Laser Blue, its not as hard as black to clean, so far in my area I have the only one.
Not this means anything but the LTZ for this gen. 06 was the only year that it was made. You cant
beat the power that the 3.9L puts out. As I have said before I am sure that there is some hindden power that
has not yet been released for it.
The new seat are great with only one hang up, but not to many people seats in the back of my car so it does not
bother me that much.
After owning the car now for over a year, I think that I got a great buy.
As most of you all know, the Monte holds a good retail value. Now that they are not going to be making them after this week
This should help even more in maintaining the value of the car.
