just wondering what everyone runs

personall i run 89 most of the time then every once in a while(when prices are down i run 91 through it

 

Yeah...I used to run strictly Premium, but when the price of premium hit over 3 dollars ($3.40 in most cases), I started using regular. I actually have had no problem running 87 in it. She runs fine, but I can tell the difference when I use premium. I'll run a tank or premium every once in a while to clean it out.

 

I use only 93. I did not want to mess anything up by using a lower octane gas in my 04 SS.

 

I only use 87 which is what it calls for, however I do use Top Tier gas. Which is what GM recommends for all '06 and up Montes. Shell sells it as do a few other places.

 

I use Shell 87 octane in my 06 3.9L. - Runs Great
*City/Beach average 23.7 MPG (Mostly under 50 MPH

My 05 LT w/3.8 only got 18.7 [X(]
Driven & maintained same as 06 LT3

4 major manufacturers got together to formulate this new gas....BMW, GM, Honda, & Toyota. If you do a search on the internet you can read all about it. It keeps your engine clean so you don't have to use fuel injector cleaners etc. Very good info.

I avg. about 25 in mine with 1/2 & 1/2 interstate @ 75mph and city below 45mph. It's still really new so it'll be awhile before she is broken in real well.

 

I actually use Shell 93 octane (one of the brands on the Top Tier list), but since it wasn't in the poll list, I voted for 94.

 

so where do you get this top teir gas from??

 

There's only a few places. Search the internet for the list. I know for sure Shell is on it and that's the only place I ever get my gas.
