What does everyone think?!
Kinda like how people kept commenting about the Viper test mule looking like the 2008/2009 model?
I actually like the louvers. Real louvers. Not the decals that simulate louvers. I remember first seeing rear window louvers on Firebirds, and liked them since. I think the Monte can pull it off if you find one that will fit properly. If you got to re-bend and re-shape one off of a mustang, forget it. Get one that is designed for the Monte.

I like it. I'm surprised how close they come to fitting. I had a set on my '03 Cavalier LS Sport which was black and the louvers blended nicely. I currently have the factory aluminum louvers on my Daytonas. These cars, like the Mustang II hatches were basically designed to have louvers, therefore I don't agree that Mustang IIs are the only cars that look good with them. Daytonas without louvers look naked to me. Having said that, I can accept that others might like them less on a car like a Monte with a small rear window and a traditional trunk vs. cars with large glass hatches.
i may end up trying to get this done, it looks pretty sweet imo!
I don't know about them on the Monte, but having them kind of reminds me of this fella:

At least the version before Doc Brown got his hands on it..
Plus, wouldn't the louvers partially block your rear view? Better than the rear view with Mr. Fusion, various hoses, and two giant exhaust vents, but still..
