On my '06 SS, I put the trunk "Intimidator" logo by the SS logo and left the ugly, block lettered "Monte Carlo" on the trunk.

On my '07, I removed the ugly, block lettered "Monte Carlo" to possibly make room for the last "Intimidator" logo.

Here's where I need some input, the gap from the racing stripes to the edge of the trunk lid is exactly 12 5/8" and the trunk "Intimidator" logo is 10 1/2" so I'll roughly have an inch on each side of it when/if I put it on. BUT, I was also thinking of foregoing the last "Intimidator" logo and going with a galaxy silver, script lettered "Monte Carlo" like I did on my '02 since it's a little smaller.

What do ya'll think?

My vote is for the galaxy silver script. I just feel it would be more in tune with the car.

Not that having an Intimidator script wouldn't add some appeal to the car.

I also think you might find some people here won't like the idea of putting Intimidator script on a non-Intimidator, my thoughts basically are those that know what it is will know if it is or not, those that don't know what it is... won't care. Either way you have/had some sweet cars!

 

I went with Monte Carlo script, because I'm just not a fan of the whole "Intimidator" thing, but I guess that stems from really not being into NASCAR.

I personally removed both the SS and Monte Carlo block emblems from my trunk lid and left only the bowtie. I plan on getting a new black bowtie to go inside the chrome trim surrounding the gold one.
