Hello, I'm new around here and I'm looking to buy this car and I was wondering what you guys thought about the price/the car itself.

It's a 2000 Chevy Monte Carlo
120k miles
Cloth seats
Very clean, well taken care of.

They want $4900 for it.

Thanks for your input!

Mine is an '02 w/131k and i guesstimate its worth about $5000 so the price seems right to me and it looks good in the pics, good luck man.

It looks nice. Go test drive it and look under the hood.

Looks nice from the pics, upgraded wheels!
Try to bargain him down some.
Drive it, check for leaks, see how the transmissions shift.

Looks like they took real good care of it, it's in excellent shape for an 11 y/o car. wow. Just ensure it doesn't have any sign of electrical issues by now... that's a big one for montes. Otherwise, nice find.

That year didnt come with those rims, they may have just upgraded to them, or it coulda have been wrecked and they just got those rims. Wouldnt be to bad checking into.

Thanks for your input guys! I bought the car this afternoon and am quite excited about it!

The car has not ever been wrecked, they just upgraded the rims.

I am not sure exactly what you mean by checking for electrical issues...of what types? I do know that the passenger window does not go up and down, I found a motor and regulator online for around $50 which I believe should fix it.

Thoughts?

looks like a very nice Monte, and I really like the color...

I remember that cheap replacement motors are not the best for repairing your window? Not sure though, maybe someone else can chime in and clarify this for you.
