Default What to do

I have had my 2006 Monte Carlo LT for almost 2 years and the only thing I have done was tint the windows...I know what to do, but I don't know what to do first. I want to get my exhaust done...I want rims...Cold air intake...i want to re paint it a two tone paint job and all these other things, but I don't know where I should start. Any suggestions??

what motor 3.5 or 3.9?

tint, i got four side windows done for $80.00, a CAI will run about $270.00, exhaust on your car should be pretty good, but different mufflers might give it more sound!

also, welcome to the site!!

CAI for a 3.5 or 3.9

Thanx for the welcome...I have a 3.9 and I have to get my back window done yet...I also have some body work to do as well, but I am not sure what to start with though...I was thinking exhaust then CAI...but Idk what exhaust I should do...I want it to sound as deep as it can for my motor.

IMO don't go over board on the exhaust, remember it is a V6,and they don't sound like V8's with exhaust...you can make them sound good, you just need to be tasteful about your exhaust set up. I personally like the sound of Magnaflows on my V6 3.5L Monte...I replaced the stock resinator with a Magnaflow resinator, and put dual Magnaflow mufflers...sounds good, and is mellow on the highway. The CAI will make it sound even better too...

Personally, I would get your body work done, and tint that back window before moving into performance mods...but thats just me, I have to have my car perfect all the time, and visuals are the first thing on my list...

Oh and just so you know, this probably should have been placed in the General Monte Carlo Talk section...The section you posted in is for suggestions about the actual forum itself...Just and FYI. Maybe one of the mods will move it over to the right section for you!

maybe it would help if you asked yourself if you would rather have performance mods first or cosmetic ones.

first imo, a nice set of rims would really set you apart from the field, then go for the CAI and/or the exhaust. i think you will be happy with whatever you choose honestly.
