Without going into too much detail,my wife needed a car,quick.

We soon found one on Craigslist. The owner was happy to drive it to us (since we had no transportation,my car was down and out)

It looked nice,my wife liked it,and was sold when the guy said "remote start".

So,he drove me to the bank,we drove to his house,I handed him the cash,he handed me the keys and the title (clean) and off I went! So...

stock blue/silver 2005 Monte Carlo SS super charged with 145K miles at a drive time lot for 14,000. almost paid off. It was well maintained and drives like a dream, interior darn near perfect black leather. I may have paid too much but to me she's well worth it!

I feel I got a great deal due to the color, sand metallic. Car is straight with no rust. Maintained and recently had major tuneup. Owned by a older gentleman who took car of it.

these do hold value based on miles, I was shocked that a straight car lot stock 06 was asking 10K
I looked at all the sites and yes he was selling cheap based on miles
the V8 adds value over the v6 versions
I decided that I have no spending money and will stick with my 03, but man it was tempting to upgrade to a SC V8
