Kinda hard to tell on my screen if it's blue or green. Go with JJ's suggestion for the best results.

On my screen it reminds me of the "Dark Blue Metallic" on my old 85 Cavalier.

Keep in mind the paint on the underside of the trunk lid tends to be a quick, non-cleared, one coat of whatever the top side of the trunk was. Either way, I'd go with JJ's idea.

It looks like an aqua-teal color. I am soooo painting my monte this color when I get it, it is just so gorgeous in person lol. I'm painting everything to match the car but I am most def not painting the underneath of the hood. I'm gonna try to chip a piece of it off & take it to some sort of body shop to see if they can figure out what it is. The top of the trunk doesnt look like that so i have no idea

Diont just take a chip. If you can, take the hood, They need a working room to make all the test dot. Or if you have the gas lid, take that.

I really wanted to see Brittany carrying a car hood into a paint store and asking, "Can you match this?".

Actually its the trunk lid that has the paint on it :p but yea that would be hilarious. I told her to walk into home depot with it just for laughs

Dont laugh. I saw it all the time. people only had the hood or a door as a sample and brought that in. Sometimes they would leave the whole car the entire day. It really helps when your doing a color match.

6 yrs of color matching. i kinda know what i'm talking about.
