Weld 15x10's Fitment

Default Weld 15x10's Fitment

Hey guys and gals i have a black 84 monte and was wondering if anyone has experience with having 15x10's in the rear, do you think they will fit w/o any mods or a tub

They will fit. But you have to get the right backspacing. A good wheel place can help you with that. If they are not willing to, find another.

Well i just found out that there 15x10's with a 5 1/2 backspacing, you think they could fit???

thats i dont know. Maybe some of the members that have 4th Gens can answer that.

the biggest ive run was a 15x8.5 with 3.5 inches of backspacing. i was running a 275/50/15 rubbed on outside. 15x8 with 3.75 fits perfect with 275/60/15.
currently running 15x8 with 4 inch backspacing on weld prostars with 275/60/15 no rubbing but its close on the inside. i think the 10 would be to big unless you plan on running a small tire and if thats the case its not worth it. ive seen one with a 16-17 inch tall tire with 285s on it. i dont think you can go much bigger without notching and minitubs. if you would like i can try and post pics.
