msnyder112: Thanks alot, man! I first made a sealed box that was carpeted, but was looking for more sound so I built a second box that had the port in it. My dad has built a couple cabinets for his bass amps.. so you could say there's some experience between me and my dad.

Nice looking stereo and tint. As far as the carpet for your box I would look at home depot or lowes. I know Home depot had a grey carpet that was similar a few years back but I haven't looked for it in a few years. It was a lighter gray but it was close.

 

Heres my box carpet, i was suprised with how well it matched, nxt time im at the audio shop ill ask em where they get there carpet
