Well, after much work on the Monte, here's my story in pictures. Only one thing is left now; the hood. Enjoy.

Oh yeah, took her for a spin around the neighborhood and it ran and shifted nicely.

If I only knew someone with an air compressor large enough to paint with...

The hood is from carhoods.com, body kit is from bodykits.org. Pricey though... freight shipping is a b.

looking good. I like the hood but was wondering if it blocks your vision at all. My buddy had a car with a big scoop and it was a pain to see around.

I've tossed around the idea... I'd either go with a Brickyard or the small hump spoiler, but I kinda like the bare rear end...

The hood is in the way a little, but it's not that bad. It is 3" though, so don't get me wrong it's big lol, but the ones that really get in the way are the 4"+ cowls

I think a brickyard would really look great on the car.

Glad to see it is running though!

Looking good! I bet if you wanted to keep a low profile spoiler, the hump spoiler would look good. A brickyard would too though. Can't wait to see what you end up doing with the body. The engine looks great!

Thanks Chibi & Zipper, I really have no clue if I'll even get a spoiler... That's for the future. For now, I'm just going to fix the cracks in the hood, probably rattle can it to be honest, until I can afford to get a nice air compressor and paint the whole car - I need to get a fender anyways, mine's cheap aftermarket sheet metal that dents EASILY. Either gloss black or metallic black of course.
