Default Tranny?

ok, i have a 1995 z34. i just got back from a road trip where i put about 650 miles on my monte. today i drive to work and there is a noise that sounds like it is coming from the tranny. i can not explain the noise, sorry. heres where it get crazy. it does not start the noise till i get to 30-40 mph. the noise stays constant till i take my foot of the gas and coast in drive, then it stops. when i put my foot back on the gas, the noise comes back. can someone tell me what it is? thank you.

Chris

You will have to try and explain what the noise sounds like for us to help even a little. Noises are really hard to diagnose over the internet to begin with.

Is it a whine??? Clunk? Grinding?

Could be a bearing or your belt. Since it sounds like only under load, check your belt and then try to spin everything by hand and see.
