The powertrain warranty should be 100,000 miles I believe

The basic warranty is out but I don't think your powertrain warranty is out yet

yep exactly. the dealer tried to get me to do a trans flush at 35k recently and i toldthem no thanks. the owner's manual says 100k for trans fluid change/flush. i will probably do it before that of course but not at 35k. they arejust lookin for $$ imo.if something happensbefore that, warranty shouldcover it. no skin off my back!

Thanks for the heads-up. Why is it under-the-table? Was there a bulletin?

April my factory warranty is up. But I don't drive the car enough to be even close to 36k miles yet. Just under 22k before that happens.

Sure hope the extended I bought covers this "IF" it ever becomes an issue?

Mines at 35K right now and so far so good. But this really makes me start to wonder, my car is from Cannada. If i notice anythingim just gunna call the dealer, thats what my warranty is for.

If there's no bulletin I don't believe it.

But if there is, please post it so I can get it done!

Far as I know ALL '00-07 Montes came from the Oshawa plant.

The engine/trans came from Mexico in '06. That I'm pretty sure of.
