A. Unless................. this car was smacked hard in the @$$, it is NOT, NOT an '84 Monte.

A-1. wrap around taillights.

Information:
Wrap around taillights did not show up on the 4th gen Monte Carlo untill 1986 on the LS.
1987 and '88 they were used on the SS and Aerocoupe.

So unless this car received heavy damage and was fitted with later parts, it's not an '84 Monte Carlo.

Not dis-agreeing with you. You know would know better than I would.

Using the 4th gen VIN decoder linked in another thread, that car is supposed to be a 1984.

So this would explain the newer (to the car) parts added.

Its not the CAR that we are talking about. Its the INFO the guy posted with the car.

First of all....

Engine 383 stroker and 750 HP Carperator

Whats a 750 HP Carperator? I've heard a 750 CFM Carburetor.

8 Cylinder gas tank

I had no idea gas tanks had CYLINDERS in them.

This car and it is a must see Monster on the road as well as a eye catcher. A BEAUTY!!! Only been Driven 10 times!!!! and only to family events since being completed.

How does he know that its its a MONSTER on the road with out really opening it up and really winding up the engine. And just driven 10 times and only to family events? How far were the family events and i know how they can get out of hand. ( I'm from LA and in know what happens at FAMILY EVENTS ) Lighting up the tires and seeing how far it can do burnouts.

Thats what were really making fun of. not the car.

They built it like they wanted it to be.

Just not my style.
