Default Tires Squeal

Anyone else's stock tires squeal when taking turns often. And I dont even mean taking them that fast. On all different types of surfaces, concrete, black top, rubber sealed black top etc.?

Mine squeal pretty easy too when turning from a standstill. I was thinking about changing tires to either GFGoodrich G-Force TA/KDWor Goodyear Eagle R1's. Love the tread pattern of the G-Force.

I was once told that squealing tires mean your tires are under inflated. Might want to check'em.

I've check'd them, they are were they are suppose to be. I just think these stock tires are a piece ofcrap. From the reviews I've read on my tires no one likes them.

I've had that happen to me when I got some tire cleaning foam on the treads.
I don't like the Goodyear RS-A's that came stock on the '04 models. They break loose too easily when pulling away from a stop light.

I dont have a gauge, they look ok.... I'll have to get one check it out, that would make sense.

Wish I had that problem.

Maybe I'm not pulling away at a high enough rate of speed? [sm=joke.gif]

yea the coopers i put on my MC don't squeal unless i'm trying to do it. but the weight in these cars helps with making them whine a little during high speed cornering (which isn't often for me)

I'd say it's either pressure or the tires themselves.

I only say this because I've bought hundreds of tires in my Grandpa life and Inotice that a low cost, hard compound tire, coupled with underinflation will cause quite a bit of squealing.

The Goodyear Integrity that comes with the 16 in. LS models is considered a pretty decent medium compound tire.
