Time to my Monte out to pasture...
Well, I never thought I would do what I have done. Especially after saying I'd never get rid of my '07 Monte SS after I got it.
With introduction of the new HUD in the 2011 Camaro SS, I have decided to go to the "dark side" and put my "baby" up for sale. It was a hard decision, but came to the conclusion that it was necessary. Why didn't GM put a HUD in the Monte's? They are twice the freaking car a Grand Prix could ever hope to be.
Anyway, the Monte SS has ALWAYS been my dream car; the '86 SS is the Holy Grail. I've had the opportunity to own 3 SS's, but yet they somehow seem to keep finding their way out of my garage.
I will miss my current SS, as I miss the other 2 I have owned, but I will enjoy my 2011 Camaro SS just as much... I hope.

Man, I wish I could sell mine for that. My Monte is worth about half of that. The new Camaros are very nice, I don't know if I would be comfortable with the blind spots though. It's like driving a tank, a very very fast tank...

Sorry to hear you're selling the Monte Carlo . 
Wonder if I could get that out of mine? Okay it's not an SS. I've got mileage working in my favor plus the fact I purchased an extended warranty that won't be up for a few more years.
I know I'd sure miss it if it were gone.

Why would you be sad about getting rid of your Monte for a Camaro SS? I'd be clicking my heels all the way to the Chevy dealer. Good luck with the sale, but I do believe you'll have to go down in price to get people interested.
I test drove the new 'maro and loved it. Love the interior and the hud like you were saying. I also test drove the new Challenger and thought the Camaro blew it away. Although I love the old muscle car look of the challenger the tech in the challenger was very basic compared to the Camaro I tested.
God_bot, I also noticed that the blind spots were horrendous. Just have to be extra careful...
