Well, after almost 10 years of ownership.......I am listing the old girl up for sale I ended up picking up a 2015 Rav4 as a daily driver. Up until now, I had my Monte in the summer, and have been driving my truck in the winter. At 15MPG, my truck is just not economical to drive for long periods of time. The Rav will be driven year round, and now my truck will just be driven as needed. I washed her up, waxed her, and listed her up on Craigslist.....it was a very sad moment for me. Odds are, it will not sell anyways, this is a tough time of year up here in new England to try and sell a car like this so we shall see what happens.

You should post your Craigslist link on this thread...You never know if a member would like to have a beautiful Monte likes yours.

Thanks - the wife and I are loving ours as well. No complaints! Just rolled 1,000 miles on the odometer last night.

 

Handing over the keys to the new owner today after work. It still quite hasn't sunk in that I am going to have to watch the car I've owned and loved for the last 8+ years drive away for the last time.

I will still pop in from time to time to get my Monte fix in. I think I will own another one to be honest, just an older one. I'd really like to find an 80s SS with t tops to have as a cruiser.
