the trans am is an a6 ? did you swap a 6l80e into it . Also silverbullet i just bought a 99 formula hartop six speed with ws6 hood . I think im keeping my monte too . Im gonna sell my 85 trans am .

 

I would sell my Dale Jr in a heartbeat for a V-8 muscle car like a Trans-am, Camaro, or GTO. I love the V-8 sound along with the power. My fiancee's 2007 Mustang GT with the 4.6L V-8 sounds great, has good power, and gets better gas mileage than my Monte Carlo. I'm not a Ford guy but I would take a newer Mustang also.

how does a V8 mustang get better mileage than your monte? i think these cars get great mileage for the power they have.

i love your monte, bullet. it's amazing. but i hear ya on the trans am. i still would find a way where i could keep both though. i love my monte and trans am too much to sell either. the trans am is fun, but i also need something to have room for more people, things, comfort, and good gas mileage.

 

its a m6. just curious how much you paid for the forumla cuz i not sure how much i should offer him. i was thinking to offer him $5000 and see what he say. i talked to him last week and he said in greece there's a strike going on in the shipping fleet industries and the car should be here anytime this month.

i would love to keep the monte but i wouldn't be able to afford both on insurance and maintenance (mods $$ lol). beside i will end up having 4 cars if i keep the monte. 2 DD 95 honda civic and acura integra.

another option i was thinking of is to just sell the monte and not buying the t/a period. i been thinking of getting a condo instead. i would be saving a lot of money too if i go this route. don't get me wrong i love to get the t/a but i'm afraid i'm gonna end up spending a lot of $$ and time with the t/a and burning a hole in my pocket LOL.

 

I don't know but we have a 30 mile drive to work everyday which is mostly highway driving and her car gets 25 mpg and mine gets 23 mpg. I tuned mine up with new wires, plugs, fuel filter, air filter, tranny fluid & filter, thermostat, and a coolant flush. It also had the intake gaskets replaced with the new upgraded ones. I don't drive this car aggressivly so you tell me why my mileage is so bad compared to everyone else who posts here that say they get in the upper 20's or even 30 mpg. The car runs great and has plenty of power but sucks the fuel.
