Default Taking my Monte to the Beach

I am taking my 02 SS to the beach this weekend. Me and my buddy are going down to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It's about 500 miles away. So tomorrow I am gonna give the Monte a good bath and get her ready for the trip. Does anybody have any suggestions on anything to check before I head out? I want to get there problem free lol. The car runs great and I don't think there will be any issues. I am going to check all the fluids and the tires but there is something else I should check or do before I take her? Thanks for any input. This will be the longest trip I have ever taken her on since I have owned her.

Check the brake pads out and fluid. The wiper blades and washers. Check all the belts and hoses. Dont forget to check your spare tire air pressure and that you have your jack and everything that goes with it.

Check that your headlights, brake lights, license plate light and turn signals all work. Those Myrtle beach cops just love to have probable cause to pull you over and look for drugs etc......

For longer trips I also put in a premium injector cleaner (I use the GM engine treatment)...

Yes and I absolutely love it!!! I would love to live down there. It's totally different than here in Maryland.

44k is really good stuff, but kind of spendy That's what the stealership in my area swears by, and i must say, i'm pretty pleased myself. At 20 bucks a can, i don't use it too often though
