Default Suspension Issue?

Hey guys, this just started happening the other day after i had my tires rebalanced, but nothing out of the ordinary really caused it to happen.

Whenever i turn or accelerate, i get a bending, or kind of metal rubbing kind of noise, im not sure if its struts going bad or what, it seems to come from more of the front passenger side. any help would be appreciated, thanks

Maybe the bushings in the shocks or the struts rotted out/worn out.... ? They're not extremely expensive to replace at all if you do it yourself... but I'm thinking you're going to have to have the front end re-aligned after doing it.

Could be a bearing. Do you notice it when you are turning right?

it was when i turned right, i sprayed down some wd 40 on the bushing, and on the spring itself, and no more annoying noise, if i were to do struts myself, dont i need something to compress them with or something?

You can get the tools to compress the springs from Pep Boys (rent em). It's pretty straight forward and with a manual next to you it should be a cinch. Then again, what do I know?

all you need to rent is a sprint compresser from advance or auto zone. but i would be looking more towards your hub bearings. as to me this is what your sounds like whats wrong with it more than your springs

ill go after both just on the safe side if you are going to replace the strutts get the springs and every thing that you need as in new bushings as well as springs and struts for the front end. if that didnt cure the problem which you described after oiling those parts go after the hubs whe you have a chancei have done struts in a front wheel drive befor its not that hard. you just need to take your time do to the high tention of the spring

If you are turning right when this happens it is most likely the left front wheel hub bearing
