Looks cool; I'd be interested in whether anyone knows more.

Nice brochure/info cards there, drivernumber3; I knew about the Decoma Z/Sport Z34 from a little blurb in a '90s Motor Trend issue I still have, but never saw those items before.

And according to Motor Trend's test of one, it seems that the Z/Sport effectively amounted to just an appearance package, since it didn't perform any better than a regular Z34, even with the K&N air filter and cat-back exhaust (which at least looks pretty good; I wonder who actually supplied that system?).

Anyway, I imagine only a handful of Decoma's Z/Sport Z34s ever ended up on the streets. There was hardly anything to them that a savvy car enthusiast couldn't also find and buy in the aftermarket. I will say, at least, that all Z34s should have had a decent spoiler like that (or like the Brickyard one) on the trunk to begin with.

I believe you are right, I tried to check the website on the brochure and didn't find any Monte Carlo stuff there. I have never personally seen one that I know of. But I may have over looked it too. Fun looking ride though.

Good researchinges, Driver3. I did a little more digging. Turns out Magma had a hand in the 1996 Camaro F1 package and Trans Am GT package. I'd love to get the lowering springs from the ZSPORT. 5TH Gen springs are tough to come by

Sorry to bring back this old thread but I was Googling Monte Carlo Z/Sport and came across this post.

Back in 2002/3 I had the exhaust from this package installed on my 1995 Z34. I visited a place near me called Northern Motorsport in Burlington, Ontario.

https://www.northernperformance.ca/

I don't remember exactly how I found out they had a catback for my car. The catback they installed was made by Genie Exhaust from Australia. I think they had maybe purchased what was left over of the Z/Sport package parts as I distinctly remember they had the chrome wheels available as well. In fact, they still have some stock of that particular catback but it's listed for the 3.1 engine on eBay.

Genie 95 96 97 Monte Carlo Lumina 3.1L Catback Exhaust System | eBay

I'm pretty sure that 3.1 system will bolt on to the 3.4 with just a little modification. I believe you only have to extend the midpipe a bit.

Here's a pic of what I had that car with the catback installed.

The wheels. On the Monte Carlo. In the poster. Posted by drivernumber3 on 12-04-2016.

I'm not high, and you're not a retard, just look over the entire thread, and you'll see the 5th gen wheels I was referencing.
