Default super rare 1988 Dale Earnhardt MC

There's an Ebay listing for a 1988 Dale Sr Monte Carlo. Only 12 made and only sold by Dale at his Dealership. Check it out. Confirmed as authentic by the dealership that sold it.

looks nice but also looks like something someone just threw stickers on, especially since the red special edition decal is a little lighter.

I don't think it's real, just something the dealer threw together to try and get more money.

Very Nice and no reserve. Only thing looks odd to me is that the rockers and front are low but nothing on rear. I assume that was the way it was made but jsut looks odd. They could have done something to rear fascia.

I agree -- it just looks kind of odd having such a high rear and everything else low. But it's still a slick looking car. I love the older Monte's. Personally, I'd LOVE to have a jet black '79 Monte.

Yes - it is something thrown together by the dealer to get more money - this however was thrown together by Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet in Newton, NC.

Sure it's only a couple of stickers and two rocker panel ground effects, but it is interesting because it was sold by Dale Sr's dealership.

But because it wasn't made by GM or a GM licensed upgrade to the vehicle I don't think it's really worth the extra, because it is really just a vinyl decal upgrade.

Yea, it's not a "factory" conversion, so it may only appeal to Dale Sr. fans. This is one of those love it or leave it conversions. It'll be interesting to see where the price goes.

It looks like a pretty nice '88. I'd wouldn't mind having it in my garage
