i got a rattle and was told it may be the splash guard being loose or something loose caught in the grooves. now my question is does anyone have a break down of how to take this apart? the guy who told me explained with detail and i'm pretty sure i can do it based on his directions but i'm just wondering if anyone has any sort of guide or pictures of what i'm looking for.


also, what does the cruise control "box" look like in the engine? he said it was on the driver side, but i'm not sure what i'm looking for

what splash guards are you talking about? the on under the bumper or behind the wheels? i think it will be easier for some of the experts to answer if they know exactly what your talking about.

Our '03 Pace car has an annoying rattle that only shows up when it rains. It sounds like something hitting the firewall. From what I can tell it's water drops hitting the plastic inner fender liner on the driver side. If I push on the liner it does feel loose. How to tighten it? My guess is new installation clips may clue this?
