Here are som picks from a recent road trip to a car show I hooked up with this group on the 2 1/2 hr road trip to the show . The wife and i made some good new friends and this was a rest stop in the way there . I hope you all enjoy .

85% of the car shows here don't have a class for anything newer than 1974 but I go any how weather the old people like it or not
my car got more loks at the last show the the 66 vett parked right next to me

I have a daily driven car with high miles not even in show quality and I still take it and have fun.

same here i think i can call mine a dily driver even though i work home and it only gets drove on the weekends i hit 150,550 on this trip but it was totaly worth it we had a great time

 

thanks kid !! it was the first car show i had been to this year that had another monte at it !! there was one car stereo show that had a black 6th gen so 2 shows out of the 15 that i have gone 2

Some local shows I feel outa place because it has alot of older cars but I still go to have fun, good time and meet other fellow car lovers..

I enjoy telling people that my monte is a daily driver with over 138,000 and is a 2003, they never believe me. I had more people than ever not believe me at the Monte Nats but im not surprised given the event lol.

 

sooo true i feel the same way but now that I getting to know some of the people that go to most of the shows it is getting essayer . it was very awkward at first though . I know back in Nebraska they would group cars by years but out here you will have my car next to any year make and model car or truck

And I'm the same way, I've gone to all Subaru STi and Evo meets with both cars...and yes sometimes mine get attention even there, especially with the monte being turbo'd..

for me it dont matter the type of meet or typea cars, as long asi can go, have a good time, meet good people, take pics and most of all eat foods I'm good to go!.
