Already done. When I took those pictures I had just pulled it into the driveway. Thanks for all the compliments. I hope this car is as dependable as my monte. I had it for 8 years and it never let me down.

That is a hot looking Challenger. Like the blower hood. Just out of curiosity, do they make a Challenger with a shaker hood?

Take care of your car, and it'll take care of you! I imagine you and your wife must have mixed feelings about the car right now. I would. On one hand I'd want to baby it and take care of it. But on the other hand, I'd want to drive it like I stole it.

Very Nice, black is the way to go. I have an 09. Two years next month. There are several good Challenger forums. The LX one is great. All service bulletins and recall info posted. I baby mine but do drive it like I stole it once in a while. Heres a pic of mine. It has the Silver R/T stripes but i like the look of your flat black ones.

 

Thanks for the heads up on the Challenger forums. I have not even given them a thought. I wish the hood scoop was functional but it is only cosmetic. I liked it because there werent meny around with that option.

 

Too bad the scoop isn't functional. But it does add a lot to the look of the car. I haven't seen any Challengers locally with that scoop. So I imagine it will make yours stand out in your area too. Maybe sometime in the future, a performance mod can make it functional if you like.

 

There is a Challenger at our local Dodge dealership exactly like that one. Same color, hood scoop and flat black stripes on the side. It has the 5.7L Hemi in it and stickered for over $39,000. I love these cars and wish I could afford one. Enjoy it.

I'm a Chevy guy but I think the Challenger just looks better than the new Camaro.
