So much Love for the Monte
I am amazed each time I get in this car how much more I like it. I have had a pretty good list of carsI purchased before I was 25 (now 30). I love driving this car more than any of the others I have owned. I enjoy driving it more than my brothers BMW he had when we used to race his BMW agains my WRX. The fit and finish is typical Chevy plastic, but driving the car is pure joy. I listed my cars below because I wanted you to see what my history in cars is that I am comparing the Monte to. It is not the fastest car I have owned (the WRX was), but it has plenty of power and will have plenty more when I am done with it. The interior fit an finish may not be the best I have owned (honda and Mitsubishi). The driving experience is the best for over all comfort, handling, and performance. Thank you for helping me to decide to buy this wonderful car. If you haven't seen the pics of it yet check out the link in my sig to my car domain page and tell me what you think.Wishing you lots of happy and safe miles in your Monte.1978 Ford Granada 2 door broken struts, running on 5 cylinders(loved my first car)1990 Subaru Loyale Wagon1985 Chevy Scottsdale 3/4 ton 4X4 (should have kept this one)1990 Subaru Legacy wagon1998 Chevy S10 4X41994 Honda Del SOl1994 Firebird Formula1995 Chevy truck with a 4541997 Honda Civic Highly modified2001 Subaru WRXwith over $13,000 in modifications I couldn't afford1985 Honda CRX1995 Firebird Trans AM2000 Mitsubishi Montero SportCurrent1985 K5 Blazer1956 Ford F100 (project restoration)2004 Monte Carlo SS

Nice looking chevy. The 56 is waiting for the shop to be built so it can start its restoration. I am thinking mustang II independent front suspension up front and 4 link in the back with a roush motor. As a teacher though the roush motor might be a dream.
Will post pics once I start the project.

Glad to hear you like the Monte. You've got plenty of company out here.
I love driving mine. All of them.
Heck. I may even drive my '06 LTZ tomorrow? But it depends on the weather.
