I bought them for the Pace car. Ultra's for low, Cool Blues for high beams.
Just setting in the garage with one side changed and the other side stock you could clearly see a noticiable difference. Out on the road I wasn't really sure? But the car's only been driven once with the Ultra's, and Cool Blues. So time will tell?

all ya have to do is pull ya day time running light fuse our or keep your ebrake down one click b4 you crank it and leave it there. The brake light with be on but no day time running lights! The one click dose not even move the ebrake cable. So dont have to worry about that. Ive been doing that for years on my GM cars
Well I am back after a kind of haitus trying to figure things out with books and yeah they're definitely different. The bulbs are extremely bright and seem at least three times as bright and the color is definitely a cool white. It was really hard to tell just how bright they were until nightfall but when it came, I was definitely happy with the results and have spotted a few animals trying to lurk out in front of me since. I've got the Ultras in high and low, and I think 880 silverstars in the fogs, not the ultras though. I see the biggest difference there, of course, because they were still stock.
I've heard that HIDs can cause damage to vehicle wiring, is that true? I might upgrade to them later on just for the whole sustainability thing.. but that definitely won't be before the year is over from when the bulbs were bought because of the warranty.
Also thanks for the info on the different sylvania bulbs.

I was in a similar spot man, I wanted a bright light and I loved the light HIDs put out. But I ended up trying Silverstar Ultras and I've been happy with them since. The problem with HIDs is that some of them can be really faulty and flicker/fail randomly, also if you're not too good with electronics it might cost you a little to have them installed. When I was looking into it my local shop said $450 for the HIDs and the installation.
Hope this helped.
