Default Silverstar Ultra

So, I ended up buying the silverstar ultra headlights instead of going HID, and honestly it's mainly because I don't like the scatter effect and how it puts oncoming drivers in danger by blinding them. I was hoping for a significant increase in light, but I was surprised to find that my car was sold to me with a pair of sylvania headlamps that look very similar. I believe the wats and amps are a little different but I haven't had the chance to test them on the road yet at night. I'd like to identify what was already in, I'm pretty sure they were for sure sylvania. Does sylvania make anything else for cars aside from silverstar and silverstar ultra? The lights that were in were definitely yellow in color.

Anyway, hoping to look into that tonight after I test them out (have class in like 15 mins). Part of me is kind of regretting not getting HIDs, but honestly I'd just rather cross my fingers and hope for a third party projector lighting set for the 6th gen montes.

In my last car I went from stock GE, I think, to Silverstars, and then Silverstar Ultras... Noticed a difference in each. Good bulbs, but they only last around a year.

I think I may give these a try, I need something better for night driving! thanks for the chart and all the members who have replied. I'm just gonna get the the silverstar high performance, not the ultra! hope they do good for me.

If you want to give it a try, take a look on amazon.com before you finalize your in store purchase.

You can usually get away with free shipping + it's tax free. Saves a good deal of money and they sometimes have b1g1 sales
