I re-tried the 888-739-9817 number and got a recording statied it was not in service. So contacting them this way is out.
NOTE:
I tried the 1-800 Customer Service Number again.
I am on the phone with Meguel (sp) who said he would look for this information for me.
HOPEFULLY, he can locate the number of our Pace car?
NOTE II:
Another strike out. He told me to call the dealer that sold the car new and ask them?
Maybe i'm asking the wrong question when I call?
What do the rest of you say when they answer?

I've heard that asking for the C of A is the wrong thing to ask. Asking them for the build # used to get you an answer. But lately, they won't even return people's phone call anymore.

RJ has told me that Chevy called him back and told him they can't give this info anymore. I'm removing this thread as a sticky.

wow, you guys here thought of everything! i've been wondering how i would go about finding out what number my tony is since i got it. did a search on "what number my car is" and there were quite a few threads but this was the first one. so i read through, the first phone number listed is (still) out of service; tried the second #, was connected after a few button pushes to some lady who didn't seem to know what i was talking about BUT put me on hold for a couple minutes, came back and told me mine is #460. i then asked about the COA, and she literally said that she had no idea what i was talking about. i explained to her that the special edition cars come with a COA and i wanted to see if one had been issued for my car and/or if i could get one. after a few more minutes of holding, she came back and confirmed that they could send me a duplicate, since the original was already issued and i should receive it in 3-4 weeks. sweet!
so thanks for the thread!! :-D

Wow! I'm pleasantly surprised at your success in finding out your build number and getting a copy of your COA.
Please do let us know if or when you get it, if the info on it is correct. The COA should have your VIN number and the build # on it.
There are so many people that have tried extremely hard to just get their build number with no success. Getting a copy of the COA is a huge success.
Congrats on owning Tony Stewart edition #460.

I'd be interested in this phone number.
The company I finally got a hold of, the woman there looked our Pace car up. This was after the first lady told me there was no way to find out info on our car.
The second woman told me finding the production number was possible (which she did call me back and give to me) but as far as getting a copy of the COA, she said I was out of luck. That GM had pulled all the card stock the certificates were printed on when the Signature Series cars were done in 2005.
